World Beard and Moustache Association (WBMA)
(United in Friendship and Honour)

The purpose of the World Beard and Moustache Association is to promote the worldwide appreciation of beards and moustaches, and to co-ordinate international events, including competitions, held in such a manner as to encourage friendship among those with beards and moustaches.

The association came into existence at a meeting in Höfen/Enz, Germany, on November 27, 2004.

The World Beard and Moustache Championship for 2013 will be held in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany.

For 2015 it will be held in Leogang, Austria. Please see the Calendar of Events for further information.

We currently have members in 11 different countries.  They are listed on the Members page, where you will also find links to the web sites of those clubs that have their own web sites.

Our News page has information on current topics of interest, and links to the minutes of our meetings.

We also have a Message Board.    Currently there is only a single message board and it's instructions are in English.  However members are welcome to post messages in their own language and we shall try to have them translated as necessary.

And the most recent addition is a Calendar of Events.  Anyone with information to be added to the calendar is invited to e-mail the WBMA President at hans.hamrin@gmail.com
